After years of involvement with various nonprofits, it was during a casual coffee meeting that founder Katie Cunningham Stout realized she could leverage her experience in sales and marketing to elevate cause marketing initiatives for all. 

Enter Pulley Project.

Pulley was dreamed up as a way to help nonprofits bring in exactly what they need: funding and awareness. And to allow for corporations to connect with their consumers through mission-driven initiatives.

Mixing her talents as a connector (a term she much prefers over a “salesperson”) and a marketer, she helps brands and nonprofits team up to usher in a new wave of corporate giving and cause marketing.

From her time as the National Sales Manager of Branded Content at Belo + Company and a founding team member of lifestyle media company, CultureMap Dallas, Katie grew her network and passion for creating content that sticks. She serves as an advisor for Vessel and Gardenio, two Texas startups that share her passion for storytelling and social impact.

Her spirit is perked up by reading Cleo Wade, partying with The Birthday Party Project, enjoying a strong cup of coffee from Houndstooth, and rewatching Dawn’s “Saving Lives” commercial from 2010- a major source of inspiration for Pulley.

A graduate of SMU’s Temerlin Advertising Institute (Pony Up!), Morgan hails from Chicago but is a true Texan at heart. Morgan is known for running a tight ship. Her background in startups, her tenacious nature, and her penchant for order makes for happy clients and a happy team.

Morgan draws from her experience as an account manager in various agency environments, thus is accustomed to overseeing all facets of marketing for her clients. From creative direction and content development to on-site tactical event activation, she is a true authority in all aspects of marketing activation.

Having worked with high profile and exclusive brands (Highland Park Village, Dallas Design District, Galleria Dallas, Eiseman Jewels, to name a few) as well as a wide range of nonprofits (Dallas CASA, Southwestern Medical Foundation, Parks for Downtown Dallas, Jubilee Center), Morgan’s knowledge spans industries and proficiencies. She’s small but mighty! With her knack for building relationships, composure under pressure, and a keen eye for detail, there’s truly no one you’d rather entrust with your brand’s welfare.

Morgan is all business in the office. Outside of work, if she’s not hitting local hotspots, there’s a chance you’ll spot her in the airplane seat next to you, as her passion for travel + exploring new cultures has her constantly on the go.
